“Real” dogs love SNIFF

To our amazement, some dogs encountering SNIFF are definitely curious about him, and some even aggressive.

Karolina did a bit of research and found some interesting studies hypothesizing that some individual dogs have higher cognitive abilities allowing them to interpret 2d images (posters, tvs, public projections) as their 3d world equivalents.

An excerpt from the book Dog behaviour, evolution, and cognition mentions  “Dogs also show attraction towards biologically meaningful but static visual images such as the silhouette of a dog on a screen, their own mirror images, or video images of dogs.”

Turns out interactive art isn’t just for people, but puppies too!
