A nice write-up by Watec, about their camera system of course, not about SNIFF, but the claims are pretty similar. What exactly hides behind verbage such as ‘intelligent camera’ and ‘detects treats and broadcasts real-time alerts and video without human intervention’ is anyone’s guess, but I suspect it’s not a virtual dog.
Introducing an “ideal solution for your perimeter security needs”:
Through an architectural design, an Intelligent Video Surveillance system can automatically detect threats and broadcast real-time alerts and video without human intervention. (…) These IP enabled, intelligent cameras are housed in either an IP66 polycarbonate housing or, for more rugged deployment, in an IP67 Aluminum housing enabling effective intelligent video surveillance in harsh operating environments.
